Editor’s Note: 

When I first received the copy of this anthology, I knew that I could not review this one alone. I am always conscious of the fact that, as a male-identified person, I have a very different experience in the world and in the communities I am part of. Normally, I try to read books and write reviews with that in mind and seek out some other perspectives when necessary. But with a book that is about consent and the cultural problems with how it is handled in our society, well, there was no reasonable way for me to take the lead. 

So instead, I brought in two of XCBDSM’s female writers/educators to read the book and give their perspective. While I certainly have my own thoughts and reactions, I will let their voices take the mic here.

New Silicone Products at Stockroom

Ever since we got our silicone paddle from Tantus (which you should totally buy, btw), we have been waiting for other toys to follow suit.

The folks at Stockroom have answered that call with a new line of products made from food-grade silicone.

They have wrist/ankle cuffs, a collar, and three kinds of gags.

We haven’t had a chance to test-drive any of it yet, but we’re very excited to see the release.

UPDATE 11/30/15: Fetlife seems to have pulled the ad after we alerted them to the site’s practices. Good for them.

UPDATE 11/6/15: Despite the fact that I was careful to avoid all the sneaky hidden check boxes all over the site, today, the website charged by credit card $81.85. I immediate got on the phone and notified them that my entire session on their website had been recorded and that I can prove those charges were never authorized. They quickly reversed the charges, but I won’t have the refund (most likely) for a week or so.

So if you can’t afford to have nearly $100 taken from you, do not, under any circumstances, give this website your credit card information.

The bottom line: They lie about what you will be able to do when you sign up, they attempt to trick you into signing up for more than you want, and they will try to get an exorbitant amount of money from you for something that is available for free all over the internet. You will have almost no ability to do anything without forking over money, and once you do, you will struggle to get them to stop charging you. Your best bet, STAY AWAY!!! (DatingBusters.com agrees with me)
