A new site in this family, socialsex.com, has an interesting new addition to its terms of use:

Online Emissary™ Feature. socialsex.com may, at its discretion, cause or allow You to be contacted by one or more Online Emissaries as a part of socialsex.com’s Online Emissary™ feature.
14.1 An Online Emissary™ may be a real person, such as another socialsex.com Member, a digital actor, an avatar or a synthespian (e.g. a computer generated “person” or “character”). Online Emissaries may be employed by socialsex.com or a third party to enhance Your online experience. For example, an Online Emissary™ may provide an electronic introduction to new or existing socialsex.com features or functionality.
14.2 Online Emissaries may also provide to You, or enable You to receive, digital introductions to all Members. Online Emissaries may also be employed to enhance online relationships, encourage active participation in socialsex.com or discourage inappropriate behavior

Apparently these companies have had enough complaints about fake people that they now include a section notifying you that they may use “online emisaries” to “enhance you experience”.

Translation: Make you think you are actually getting somewhere with their service and continue to pay for nothing.

I have found lots of great ideas for scenes from watching some of the creative work that has been posted there. Recently, they started promoting a side project called xxxcupid.

A Wonderful Weekend in Review

They don’t call it the land of the midnight sun for nothing.

We were just leaving the “Sinner’s Dinner” on the last night of the convention and walking back to our hotel. And as the sun set into the sea in the West, I observed aloud, “Holy shit, it’s 11:45!”

This has been an incredible weekend. I will focus on the professional bits here and leave the naughty details of the play party for another venue. (more…)

Headin’ Out

We are leaving in about 12 hours for Alaska.

My wife and I will be presenting at Northern Exposure 2010 this weekend in Anchorage. We are very excited and looking forward to finally meeting all the wonderful people who have been organizing the event for many months.

We are presenting 4 classes in total, all of which can be found on my workshops page on the right. They are:

– Friday – BDSM Ethics and Etiqutte

– Saturday – Scene Negotiation

– Saturday – Defining and Refining Your Role as a Submissive

– Monday – Play Piercing Basics*

*The last class will be presented at the Last Frontier Men’s Club and is not part of the conference

I will certainly be posting over the weekend and letting you all know how it went.
